Ten reasons for spending a year abroad!

Know differents cultures.

I think that traveling around the world give you the possibility to know cultures totally differents from yours. If I go to Asia for exemple, I am going to know a totally different way of life that in South America and I think this can make me a wise person and it can help me to see the world in a different way.

Know differents people.

Travelling gives you the possibility to know a lot of people, and I think that if you know differents lifes with a lot of differences that yours, maybe it help you to estimate more what you have and see your life with another point of view, it can help you to forge your personality.

Know new places.  

This is a very obvious reason but I think that is one of the most important. During my year abroad I'm going to visit the principal turistic landmarks of the country of course, but what I most have desire to do is visit the more isolate place, when the man have not put his hand and be in touch with the nature.

Know new food and drinks.

This is the most delicious reason! Know a lot of new exotic food and drinks, eat all you want and drink what you want can teach you what people eat in others places of the worlds, travel is a door to the gastronomy, and when I return to my country I can cook to my family and friends a lot of international dishes! 

Sports and leisure.

This reason is maybe not the most important but still count because sports is a way to share a same activity, even a passion with people, and sports help you physically but the most important, emotionally, and that is an aspect than need to be strong when you travel for a long time and far for your family and friends.

Festivals.

Know differents festivals of the world is an interesting reason to travel, not only for have fun but a festival can represent a lot for a country and for the persons that live in there, is a way to celebrate and approach to "country's feelings", like a independence's day.

National History.

This can be the reason of a lot of people at time to choose a destination. National history teachs you a lot of things of the population and his past, and are there better and funniest way to learn history than see the things with your own eyes?

Meet yourself.

Travel is a way to meet yourself, and more if you travel alone. It is a way to be alone with your own and ponder about life and how you can face her, ponder about your own problems or all good things that you have.

Save money.

Have little jobs when you travel is great way to make money and save it, and it's better if you make it when you're young. Is a way to enter yourself in the middle of work and gain experience, it helps you to become more responsable and more independent too.

Open your mind.

This reason is composed of all the others, travel and know new things is a way to be more conscious of the reallity and the world that you live it, it helps you to think how to be more generous with people who surround you and with the own Earth. I think that travel teaches you how to be a better person, you only need to be patient and learn.
